Summer Fun

We spent last week in New Hampshire at a family cabin on Lake Wentworth for a fantastic vacation.  It was the most relaxing week I have had in a very long time.  Kevin was able to get the week off, we brought the dogs, spent time with my family and had a fabulous time.  Since I don't have very much news pregnancy wise, I'll let our vacation pictures do the talking:

Baxter has been to this lake once before, and he knew exactly what to do once we got there.  He spent the entire week "fishing" as evidenced below.
Seriously, he woke up and the first thing he did was go out to the dock, any time we weren't sure where he was, he was pacing back in forth in the beach area just following fish.  Very simpleminded, but adorable.

He recruited Krysten for some help

Emily also enjoyed herself, swimming and asking anyone who would to throw the ball for her.  I am very pleased with how well behaved the dogs were the whole week, we just kept an eye on them but they did awesome off leash and entertained themselves.

I am very sorry to be home now.  It was wonderful to be with my family for the week.  I realized how much I miss being away from them especially while pregnant, both of my parents even got to feel the baby kick, which they hadn't before.  We have vacationed with my dad's sister and her family almost every year since I was three until 4 or 5 years ago.  So it was so nice to get to spend a vacation week with them again, with the bonus of my dad's brother and his family.  It is so awesome to have an extended family that we love spending time with!

As for pregnancy progress, here are weeks 27 and 28 along with a bonus video!  We start our child birth class tomorrow night, so things are getting real.  I'll post an update on how they are after the first few weeks.

She was moving and grooving while I was working at my desk today, I'm glad I caught it on video!  She either really likes or really hates data analysis.
